Presenting a Rotary "Cyber-Cafe"

The Internet has become a tool for both business and not-for-profits. Rotary requires local clubs have at least 3 meetings designated as "club assembly" day, a sort of internal club workshop.

I was recently asked to present to the Rotary Club of Aiken a "cyber-cafe". I spoke about the Internet, and the Rotary resources there. Rotary International's website, our Rotary District 7750's website, and our online club management system.

Then, in an attempt to bring down the router (wink) at Newberry Hall in Aiken, all 160+ members present logged into their online Rotary accounts using smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Each member was given their own personalized instructions on how to access their account.

If you are a Rotarian in District 7750, and are interested in holding a Cyber-Cafe for your club, contact us!
