I am old. I must look old. Young cashier at store yesterday asked if I qualified for the senior citizen's discount. So, Obviously older than I feel or my birth certificate tells me. I was shocked, and demanded she card me....
"But you aren't buying any beer" was her reply.
So I took a survey. It was a highly non-scientific survey on Facebook, THE premier location for good objective feedback from my friends. I heard from the editor of the newspaper, a hairstylist in Savannah, two teachers, and several others convincing me to take the discount.
From now on, I will be 75. Then people can say "Damn, don't she look good for a 75 year old". So next time you see me, please, say "Damn, you don't look a day over 74" :)
